Point & Place™

Eyekandy offered me this great opportunity in 2017. The directors had paved the road to create a feature-rich app that used AR to enable an innovative shopping experience focused on tech products. I helped engineering at a very early stage, taking critical decisions on both front-end and back-end sides. Using Unity 3D I made a fast prototype of the app which helped to get the initial investment. I then went on developing until the first iOS published version.

While I kept developing new versions I also helped create a good team with all the needed skills. Soon the app had thousands of available products in 3D to be downloaded and placed with ease. I left the project in a moment where the app was becoming increasingly web-oriented and needed experts in AWS. Point and Place™ is now a success and has won multiple awards as well as the attention of the press and millions of users.
