Baby Flutter

Baby Flutter is an interactive artwork conceived by Dominic Harris. Ten unique butterfly species in a limited, numbered edition. The project was presented by priveekollektie at designmiami art basel 2012. A finely designed frame encloses a modern embedded system which integrates sensors and custom electronics to achieve high fidelity and engage the viewer with the butterfly while keeping a power efficient profile. The software consists of a Linux custom application using C++ and low level graphics languages.
